PORTABLE HEGHT
MAKES THE MAN.
OR WOMAN,
COMPLETE.

PORTABLE HEIGHT
IS A ONE-OFF
UNEDITIONABLE
CELEBRATION
OF THE NOTION
OF MASTERPIECE
WHICH HAS RECENTLY
BEEN UNDER A CLOUD.

This poem accompanied an exhibit in a Box exhibition at Defiance Gallery in Enmore. The work consisted of a soap box from the top of which this poem was recited loudly at the exhibition's opening. MS '97.
